Europäische Kommission (EC) (EU)
Ziel der europäischen Projekt- und Maßnahmenförderung ist die Unterstützung der Politik der Europäischen Union. Die ca. 200 Förderprogramme, Maßnahmen und Initiativen erstrecken sich über ein breites Spektrum an Förderbereichen: von Forschung, Bildung, Gesundheit, Verbraucherschutz, Umweltschutz bis zur humanitären Hilfe. Grundsätzlich werden die EU-Finanzhilfeprogramme in zwei Kategorien unterteilt: 1. Europäische Strukturfonds (z.B. ESF, EFRE, Interreg) und 2. EU-Programme (z.B. eContentplus, 7. Forschungsrahmenprogramm, Sokrates)
